How it works
Log a meal in seconds
- 1
Pick your goal
Lose weight, keep your weight, gain weight or build muscle, or eat healthier. Answer a few questions and Amigo works out a daily calorie and protein target, or skip it and just see your totals.
- 2
Snap it or say it
A photo of your plate, or a few words like “two slices of pizza for lunch”. Not quite right? Pick smaller or bigger.
- 3
See your day
Today shows what you've eaten against your target and what's left. Your usual meals are one tap away with Log again.
Every week
Your week, summed up
A week after your first meal, and then each week you log, Amigo sums up your last 7 days when you open the app.
-
How the week went
The days you logged and, if you see calories, your calories and protein on those days against your target.
-
A pattern, when there is one
Like the meal that brings most of your calories, when one stands out.
-
One suggestion
Something small for the week ahead. Talk it through with Amigo, or just say thanks.
Made for real life
Tracking that keeps it simple
-
Log again in one tap
Your usual breakfast, logged again with its numbers. Undo is one tap too.
-
Just the foods, if you prefer
Rather not see calories? Choose “Just the foods” and your log shows your meals without the numbers.
-
Reminders that name the meal
Turn on a daily reminder and it asks about the meal of that hour: “Log your lunch?”
-
Gentle by design
No guilt and no lectures, and a calorie cut never goes below safe floors.
-
Meal plans when you want them
After two weeks, Amigo offers to plan meals around what you usually eat. Or switch any time in Profile.
-
Works like an app
Add Nutramigo to your home screen and it opens like an app. No app store needed.
Pricing
Tracking and meal plans, one price
Premium is free for your first 4 weeks, with no card. Then it's US$14.99 a month or US$79.99 a year, with meal plans whenever you want them. Cancel any time.

Questions about tracking
Do I need a meal plan?
No. Choose “Track what I eat” when you start and no plan is made. If you want meal plans later, switch in Profile, or say yes when Amigo offers.
How accurate are the estimates from a photo?
They're estimates: a photo can't be weighed. In our own test on 23 cafeteria plates whose ingredients had been weighed, half of the estimates were within 14% of the real calories, and some were further off. Pick smaller or bigger, or add a detail, for a better estimate. More about logging meals
Can I hide the calories?
Yes. Choose “Just the foods” when you start, or turn off Show calories in Profile. You see your meals without the numbers, and Amigo doesn't talk about them.
How many meals can I log?
Up to 5 meals a day from a photo or a few words in your free weeks, and 20 with Premium. Log again doesn't count toward that.
Is there a barcode scanner or a food database?
No. You log a meal with a photo or a few words, and Amigo estimates it.
How much does it cost?
Premium is free for your first 4 weeks, with no card: full-week plans, swaps, meal logging and Amigo. After that it's US$14.99 a month or US$79.99 a year, or US$22.99 a month for Family, which plans for the people you cook for too. Cancel any time. If you don't subscribe, your plans, recipes and logs stay in the app.
Do you keep my meal photos?
We keep a smaller copy with the meal you logged, so you can see it later. Only you can see it. Your phone makes the photo smaller before it's sent, which also removes its location. Undo or delete the meal, or delete your account, and the photo is deleted too.
