What Nutramigo is, and isn’t

Nutramigo is an AI assistant that makes meal plans and answers questions about food and nutrition. It gives general guidance, not medical advice, and is not a substitute for a doctor or a registered dietitian. Talk to a health professional before changing what you eat if you have a medical condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, have or have had an eating disorder, or take medication. In an emergency, contact emergency services.

AI can make mistakes. Check ingredients and labels yourself, especially for allergies and intolerances; we can’t guarantee that a recipe is free of an allergen. Nutrition figures are estimates, and those for meals you log from a photo or a description can be well off.

Your account

Give accurate information, keep your sign-in safe, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You must be at least 13, and you need a parent’s or guardian’s permission if you are under 18.

When you add other people to your plan, you confirm that you may share what you tell us about them (for a child, that you’re their parent or guardian).

Free trial, Premium and Family

• New accounts get Premium free for four weeks (28 days) from their first day in the app, with daily limits (for example 2 new plans, 40 messages and 5 meal estimates a day). No card is needed, and nothing is charged unless you subscribe.
• After the four weeks, new plans, swaps, meal logging and Amigo’s replies need Premium. Your plans, recipes, grocery lists, logs and progress stay in the app. If you subscribe during your free weeks, Premium starts that day, in place of the free days left.
• Premium costs US$14.99 a month, or US$79.99 a year, plus any applicable tax, charged in advance for each month or year.
• A promo code can make the monthly plan cheaper, or free for a time. When the free time ends, a subscription started at checkout renews at the regular price until you cancel, and free Premium that came with an invite simply ends.
• Your subscription renews every month, or every year on the yearly plan, until you cancel. Cancel any time in Profile → Manage billing; you keep Premium or Family until the end of the month or year you paid for.
• We don’t refund partial months or years, except where the law requires it.
• Family costs US$22.99 a month plus any applicable tax and plans meals for you and up to 5 people you cook for. Your four free weeks include it. After them, planning for other people needs Family; with Premium, plans are for you only, and the people you added are kept. You can switch between Premium and Family in Profile; Stripe charges or credits the difference for the rest of your billing period.
• Payments are handled by Stripe, which may act as the seller of record for your purchase and handles taxes, receipts and billing questions.
• We may change the price. We will tell you before a change applies to you, and it takes effect from your next billing period after the notice.

Using Nutramigo fairly

Don’t try to break or overload Nutramigo, get at other people’s information, copy or resell the service, or use it to create harmful content. We may limit use, for example the number of messages a day, to keep the service running for everyone.

Your content

What you enter stays yours. You let us use it to run Nutramigo for you, as the Privacy Policy explains. The plans and recipes made for you are yours to use personally.

The service

We work to keep Nutramigo available and accurate, but we can’t promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or improve features, and we may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Ending

You can stop using Nutramigo and delete your account at any time in Profile. Deleting your account cancels your subscription.

Disclaimers and limits

Nutramigo is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

Changes to these terms

When these terms change we update the date at the top, and we tell you about important changes in the app or by email. Using Nutramigo after a change means you accept it.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and of the province where Nutramigo is based, except where the consumer law of the place you live applies.
